Religious Education - Fall 2024-2025
FALL 2024-2025 Schedule
It is often said that the first catechist in any child’s life are their family members with whom he or she lives. The home or “domestic church” provides a real place in which a child learns to live their faith, as well as understanding it. We will assist children to learn, pray and build their relationship with God and the Church.
Religious Education begins on September 22nd
Grades 1 - 8 will have class from 8:45 - 9:55am followed by Mass at 10am (mandatory).
We ask if any student would be interested in becoming an Altar Server, Greeter or to pass the collection basket.Grade 9 & 10 (Confirmation) 8:45 - 9:55am followed by mass at 10am (mandatory). We ask that candidates participate in the Mass as Lector, Altar Server, Greeter or to pass the collection basket and do a Community Project that will be assigned every month.
This is a 2 year program.Registration starts August 4, 2024 after 10am mass in the church hall
REGISTRATION FEE: $30/child $15/ siblings$60 for sacramental fee(First Communion or Confirmation)

Sacraments
Integral to being Catholic is the belief that God can communicate with us through very visible signs and symbols. We call these visible signs and symbols Sacraments. They are ways for us to make tangible God's grace in Jesus Christ. Each sacrament teaches us something about the invisible but very real realities of truth as we journey to the 'Kingdom of God.' Each year we have special opportunities for those wishing to experience the Sacraments to learn and celebrate them. If you are a newly born, or for that matter any age, you can be welcomed into a relationship of faith, hope and love with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
